Our crispy, coal fired meatball pie was the best we have ever enjoyed...and we spent our childhood in the New haven pizzerias! The crust was chewy and smokey, Meatballs were tender with a bit of crispness from the fire. The red Sauce had that well simmered flavor. We Paired a full bodied red and a crisp white from the well curated wine list. Our taste buds were on overdrive from this perfect pairing! Looking forward to our next visit for the rigatoni Bolognese and leaving a bit of room for a slice of traditional Tiramisu with that creamy mascarpone! Well done Sasso's!

The margherita pizza from Sasso's is hands-down the best margherita around. The crust is perfect, the sauce is so flavorful, and the amount of mozzarella is just right. I find myself craving it pretty often!

I had been meaning to try this place for a bit, then saw a video on TikTok about the place so grabbed some friends and went over. From the moment you step in the customer service, the atmosphere, and especially the food. It gets you hooked, it's become a weekly staple in my friend group every Friday we order a pizza. Always recommend this place to anyone who needs a pizza!

The best, tastiest appetizer in town! I literally can't go to sasso without ordering this lemon shrimp!!! Then just when you think things can't get better, your pizza comes out! Yum!!!

The white clam & bacon pizza was fantastic. The smoky bacon and clams paired perfectly, with the fresh herbs. The dough was the perfect balance of crisp and chewy. the cheese and garlicky white sauce brought everything together beautifully. I definitely will be ordering it again.
