Absolutely delicious pizza!! The restaurant was packed, despite that the sever was extremely attentive and the pizza was hot and delicious! It was cooked to perfection. Sasso's does not skimp on toppings in the slightest. I wish I had a bigger stomach and was able to get 2 pizzas.

Growing up Italian, it can be hard to find authentic dishes that stay true to the flavors they're meant to deliver but Sasso's in Torrington absolutely gets it right with their escarole and white bean entree. From the very first bite, you can tell the dish is made with care and respect for tradition. The escarole is perfectly tender paired with creamy white beans that add richness and heartiness. The balance of garlic and olive oil is spot on, enhancing the ingredients without overwhelming the dish's natural simplicity. This entree stands out as true Italian comfort food like something straight from a family kitchen. For an extra layer of flavor, I will usually add sausage or chicken to my order.

This is the best dish ever, the sauce is so flavorful and fresh,you would swear they have a person at the beach. The portion size will feed two people or stays great for lunch or a snack later.

Whats not to love about a bread salad. No matter if we go for entrees or pizza this dish has become a must!!! Order everytime we bless ourselves with a lunch or dinner at sassos. Super fresh super good

Our crispy, coal fired meatball pie was the best we have ever enjoyed...and we spent our childhood in the New haven pizzerias! The crust was chewy and smokey, Meatballs were tender with a bit of crispness from the fire. The red Sauce had that well simmered flavor. We Paired a full bodied red and a crisp white from the well curated wine list. Our taste buds were on overdrive from this perfect pairing! Looking forward to our next visit for the rigatoni Bolognese and leaving a bit of room for a slice of traditional Tiramisu with that creamy mascarpone! Well done Sasso's!
